请教，有关自相关函数！

我想请教有关自相关函数，对于自相关函数R(t),其中这个t怎么确定？我要是想用mt替代t,那该怎么替换，在xcorr函数是怎么确定t的？
=xcorr(y,lag,'unbiased'),问下lag参数该怎么确定，选择多少？是不是就是R(t)中的t?恳请大家指教！！！！！
