Call for Papers and Invited Sessions Proposals for 2007 International Symposium on Nonlinear Dynamics
27-30 Oct.,2007, Shanghai, China http://www.2007isnd.com/
All Submitted papers will be reviewed by at least three reviewers and participative peer review. These two kinds of review will support the selection process of those that will be accepted for their presentation at the conference and for publication in Proceedings, as well as those to be selected for their publication in IJNSNS (International Journal of Nonlinear Sciences and Numerical Simulation, Journal Impact 2.345) , CSF( Chaos, Solitons and Fractals, Journal Impact 1.938), IJCMNS (International Journal of Computational Mathematics and Numerical Simulation) , IJENA( International Journal of Electrospun Nanofibers and Applications), and other journals.
All presented papers will be published in Proceedings, which will be sent to some famous data bases , such as, Sci-E, EI (Compendex) and ISTP, for evaluation, so that the Proceedings can be indexed. The review procedure guarantees a good evaluation of the Proceedings. Authors of the best 10%-20% of the papers presented at the conference will be invited to adapt their papers for their publication in some international journals
Would you like to be kept up-to-date with the latest research developments in nanoscience and nonlinear dynamics ?
On 3 October 2006, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences decided to award the Nobel Prize in Physics for 2006 jointly to John C. Mather and George F. Smoot "for their discovery of the blackbody form and anisotropy of the cosmic microwave background radiation". Cosmic microwave background radiation is probably more related to Nonlinear Dynamics than the Big Bang Theory.

Similar to the nuclear age, the so-called nanoage is coming, the growing gap between nano haves and nano have-nots, however, will remain, as has global competition, particularly from the nonlinear nanomechanics.
What will be a milestone in nano-science and nano-technology ? Prof. Andrew N. Cleland of University of California will give you the very answer in his special plenary lecture. For more information about this special plenary lecture, please visit http://www.2007isnd.com/plenary-lecture.htm.
We also organize a Mini-Symposium on"Nonlinear Dynamics in MEMS/NEMS, visit http://www.2007isnd.com/MEMS-NEMS.htm , and a Mini-Symposium on Electrospun Nanofibers and Applications, visit http://www.2007isnd.com/mena.htm in the 2nd International Symposium on Nonlinear Dynamics , 27-30 Oct.,2007, Shanghai, China, visit http://www.2007isnd.com/ for details.
To be kept up-to-date with last research developments in nanoscience and nonlinear dynamics , you are invited to submit a paper or suggest and organize a mini-symposium on a special topic in your field.
I anticipate that the Symposium will be a mathematically enriching and socially exciting event and you will be extremely surprised and happy to meet some prominent people at this special occasion.
Dynamical Shanghai is looking forward to seeing a beautiful nonlinear bridge between nanotechnology, quantum mechanics on the one side and nonlinear dynamics, complex theory, chaos, and fractals on the other, and to seeing tremendous cross-fertilization.
Sponsors of this International Symposium are very much appreciated, and your sponsorship will enable more young scientists to attend the Symposium.
With Best Regards
Sincerely Yours
Ji-Huan He/Chairman
